Sevyn Sativa, formerly known as Kaori Blacc is a Lofi artist, singer, songwriter, beat producer, content creator, and entertainer. She was born in Miami Florida on December 5th, 2000. Her musical aspirations started when she was very young, she always loved to watch music award shows with her mom, and one year she was glued to a performance by Beyonce, from there, her passion started. She wrote her first, unofficial song at age 6 when she and her sister were playing and she began to sing a song that her sister hadn't heard before. That was because she made it up and that would continue to happen throughout her life. By 16 she'd begun binge-watching videos teaching about songwriting and hooks, videos that described beats and popular musical instruments and genres. Music was not her only aspiration, she also wanted the lifestyle associated with it so she would have to make music that was not only good but had the potential to go mainstream. Sevyn released her first song in 2018 on SoundCloud under the artist name "Tia Bell" it was titled titled "Do this Right" written, produced, and mixed by her using the app "BandLab" the quality of the song was low but the reviews were very positive. A few months later, she released it again on streaming platforms like "Spotify" under the name "Tia Unicorn". In 2019, she released her first mixtape " Yori" on SoundCloud, as Kaori Blacc. The quality had gone up drastically in comparison to her former projects and it got very positive reviews despite not doing very well in numbers. That same year, she released an album, independently written, produced, and mastered by her. The project was titled " High Thoughts" it featured 7 vibey songs that mostly described her relationship with marijuana, the most popular song being titled "Ganja Lady".Her newest release is set for January 7th, 2022. The piece is titled "Wake and Bake" and she describes it as, "The child of High Thoughts" which she is said to be released again with better quality in 2022.
